Tax Free Weekend

Well, I'm pooped tonight because I was up until 3am ordering my curriculum for this year because this weekend is tax free weekend and I object to giving the government more money than I absolutely have to. In fact, I decided 25 years ago when I started voting to never vote for a tax increase until the government starts using the money it already has wisely. You just don't offer an alcoholic another drink :-)

I am sad to say that I didn't benefit from tax free weekend...but I really didn't need anything! Yeah!

Melanie,

I shopped Friday and Saturday! I found lots of fun things to go along with our studies this school year. Even Marcy begged to start school the very next day after seeing the bags of hands on fun!

It took the whole week to recover from 2 days of serious, brain powered shopping. Then of course, to add to my exhaustion, I spent the week reorganizing the book shelves and closets. In my husband's words "My house in a destroyed." But that is another story on my blog.
